…with Medicare Prescription Drug Plans!

Medications are essential to many Seniors, but the high costs of prescription drugs sometimes force them to make the hard choice of paying for their medicines or paying for other essentials.

The cost of Prescription Drugs is one of the largest budget items in many households for people aged 65+:

  • According to the Wall Street Journal, while food and alcohol prices have risen 2.8%, and clothing and accessories are up 5.7%, pharmaceutical prices have increased 9.8% in the past year.*

Medicare does not cover prescription drugs, so where do you get help? At SBS, we can help you find discount programs and prescription drug plans that can help ease the burden.

There are many plans that carry a variety of premiums, co-pays, deductibles, and drug formularies. If you decide not to join a Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) when you become eligible to do so, or if you do not have any other credible prescription drug coverage or receive Extra Help, you will likely get charged a penalty.

Be sure to ask your insurance agent about how you can get the assistance you need and a great plan to help with your prescription drug costs.
